Mads Björn has recorded the album “Monolith” on his own, and the first single “New Sailor” went straight to number 1 on the alternative Danish radio chart. There is something beautiful and atmospheric about the music, which was recorded in his holiday cottage with primitive equipment and therefore has a distinct low-fi sound. The harmonious pop songs are played with a twist of rock, world and folk.
