After almost a decade as lead singer of Grand Avenue, Rasmus Walther has now embarked on a successful solo career with his eponymous debut album from 2011. The solo move had to happen sooner or later, but it was a surprise – even to Rasmus Walther – that he would make the transition to pop music in Danish.  So far his genre shift has yielded the hit single “Dybt Vand”.
